Our leisure upholstery and soft furnishing classes are perfect if you’d like to learn in a relaxed, friendly setting.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience, our small group classes offer the chance to develop new skills, complete personal projects, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something unique.
Weekly UpHOlstery Leisure Classes
- Format: 2.5 hours per session, once per week
- Duration: 10-week blocks (10 classes)
- Cost: £230 per block
- Options: All classes currently full – contact us to join the wait list!
- Suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced students
Bring your own project — from a simple stool to a favourite chair — and our experienced tutors will guide you every step of the way.
Weekend Upholstery
LEisure Courses
- Format: Two-day courses (Saturday & Sunday, 9.30am–4pm each day)
- Cost: £330 (£100 deposit required) – Deposit is due at time of booking; balance is due 7 days before course date
- Small tutor-to-student ratio (typically 4:1)
- Ideal for individual projects or learning a specific skill (e.g. deep buttoning)
- All tools provided — just bring your project piece and chosen fabric

SUMMER UPHOLSTERY COURSE
- Format: 5-day intensive course (9.30am–4pm daily)
- Cost: £530 (£150 deposit required) – Deposit is due at time of booking; balance is due 7 days before course date
- Suitable for beginners or more advanced students with larger projects

Weekend SOFT FURNISHING Courses
This year we are also running a weekend leisure soft furnishings course. Our weekend leisure courses are perfect for all level of student. They provide a fun, friendly teaching environment with a low student to teacher ratio so lots of hands on help.
Students bring along any project they like – we like to know in advance what you are thinking of doing, as well as their fabric. We provide all the tuition and tools, and we can provide all the sundries required.
The cost for this course is £280, plus the cost of your sundries.

Furniture Cane Work Course
- Students will bring along a small project piece ( dining chair/stool/small chair ) and be taught the art of furniture cane work.
- We can sell the cane you require or you are welcome to bring your own along.
- Course runs from 9.30am until 4pm Saturday & Sunday
- Courses run alongside our weekend leisure upholstery courses
